Woodcock-Johnson IV: Tests of Achievement (UK & Ireland Edition)
Highly suitable for monitoring academic progress, diagnosing difficulties, and planning interventions for reading in primary years. The assessment can identify five core reading areas:Â word reading, reading Comprehension, phonic skills, oral reading and reading fluency. Competence in each of these areas is necessary for fluent reading development.
SPaRCS Test
The SPaRCS is a group or individually administered standardised test that can quickly assess students' reading fluency skills (reading comprehension skills) aged 13-18 years. Highly suitable for access arrangement evidence & applications (reader, scribe and extra time) and an excellent tool for whole year-group screening.
